DCP comments on New Horizons report

new horizons.jpg The Society has issued a media release on the publication of the Department of Health's New Horizons report on the future of mental health services. It quotes John Hanna, director of the Division's policy unit:

"We welcome in particular its vision of fostering well-being rather than just treating mental ill health. We also welcome the use it makes of health economics and the developing evidence base about which treatments for mental health problems are most effective."
