How To Join the Group

To become a member of the Pre-Qualification Group, you must be a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology. By joining the Division at either In-Training or General (Psych Assistant) grade, you will automatically become a member of the Pre-Qualification Group.

In Training Membership is for Members of the Society who hold the Graduate Basis for Registration and are enrolled on a Society accredited postgraduate training course, undergoing supervised practice, or undertaking other postgraduate training which will count towards Full Membership.

General (Psych Assistant) Membership is for Assistant Psychologists who are not eligible for Full or In Training Membership, but who otherwise meets the criteria for membership of the Division. Membership fees are £16 per year

To download an application form to join the Division, please visit the Application and Fees section of the website.

If you have any enquiries about DCP membership, please contact our Membership Department on + 44 (0)116 252 9911 or email membership@bps.org.uk.
