Call for papers is open
Psychology is at an exciting juncture, with huge growth in interest and activity concerning qualitative research. Our second conference displays this range of activity while considering new ways of talking and co-operating within the family of psychology, and exploring how we respond to the challenges of working across methods and disciplines. We particularly invite papers on whether/how ‘psychology’ is changing as it encompasses the different types of knowledge generated by various approaches within qualitative research. Presentations may explore qualitative psychology from the perspective of new conceptualisations, methodological innovations, diversity, and interdisciplinarity, but submissions on other topics will also be welcomed.
We seek contributions of varying types and lengths. Twenty minute papers are the expected length, but also 5 minute summaries in a fast-paced hour and, exceptionally, 35-minute accounts of substantial research projects. Submissions may be themed into 1.5 hour symposia. We also welcome poster submissions and suggestions for pre-conference half-day workshops.
All submissions must be submitted onto the online submission system. By using our web based system you can manage your submission by adding, editing and saving your work before submitting your application. Once your application has been submitted you will receive an email notification of receipt almost immediately. If you are a new user you must first register onto the system. If you have used the system previously, you can log in using your existing username and password, if you have forgotten your password, the system can email this to you from the home page.
