The Bristol Marriott is close to Bristol town centre and is superbly laid out, affording us five session rooms and substantial break out areas. It also has excellent facilities, including a pool and spa for those keen to relax as well as learn, share ideas and network.
In a response to feedback from previous years, we have made a couple of additions to the conference: First, the Postgraduate Occupational Psychology (POP) conference will be held the day before the annual conference. This event is designed as a forum for Masters and PhD students to showcase their research and engage in practical workshops. It is envisaged that this move will provide a safe and friendly forum for newcomers to Occupational Psychology to present their ideas. Second, with increasing submissions year on year we will be placing a new emphasis on Poster Presentations this year. Posters are an excellent medium to share research and practice and to this end we plan to integrate posters into the main programme.
If you are interested in sponsoring the event - be it with a stand; your logo on the conference materials; a wine reception or even some of the evening games please contact Tina Lakin at the address below. We would also welcome your ideas for social events too.
Please do check this site regularly for programme developments and notices.
We look forward to seeing you in January!
