The full-day conference was followed on 20 December by full-day workshops facilitated by Dr. Michael Cavanagh and Prof. David Lane, and half-day workshops facilitated by Dr. Sandra Foster, Robert Nathan, Prof. Michael Carroll and Halina Brunning.

Overall, this well-organised and well attended event bore witness to an increasing seriousness among practitioners and buyers of coaching services about the underpinning psychological frameworks behind this popular intervention. It afforded much scope for reflection on the theories, models and research findings that support and inform our practice and a chance to enquire what we are trying to do as coaches who are also psychologists. This reflection and enquiry were particularly well supported by the three keynote presentations.
