'Old' Route to Occupational Psychology

If you think that you qualify for this route please see the Criteria for Registration as a Chartered Psychologist below:

Guidelines to becoming a Chartered Psychologist 2009.pdf

Logbook Submissions

There are four logbook submission deadlines per year:

1 Feb

1 May

1 August

1 November

Notification must be given at least one month before the deadline using the Assessment Registration Form. Logbooks will not be accepted without this notification or the assessment fee.

Registration form for Assessment_Old Route_Feb 2010_v2.doc

The logbooks assessment process is expected to take approximately three months. It may not be possible for a candidate to make a final submission within the same year on a proceeding deadline, ie May then August. This is because we cannot guarantee that a logbook will be returned in sufficient time to submit on a proceeding deadline. If you are undertaking a final submission please ensure that you include a copy of your MSc certificate with your submission.

All candidates are required to send logbooks Angie Cain at the Society's Leicester Office: St Andrews House, 48 Princess Road East, Leicester, LE1 7DR. Logbooks should be sent by a signed for service (i.e. recorded delivery) which provides proof of postage. Receipts for logbook will not be issued due to the volume we receive.

Fees

The fee sheet for logbook submissions can be found below.

PCOP & old route log books 2010_v3.doc

Due to the volume of logbooks we receive all receipts for assessment fees are sent out within two to four weeks of the logbook submission deadline.

Visitors should also note that whilst the specific information on these pages is accurate at the time of writing, the validity of information contained within any linked documents cannot be guaranteed.

The Qualifications Team is currently updating documentation relating to Society Qualifications to reflect these changes and revised versions will be uploaded to the Qualifications webpages as soon as they are available. Please contact the Qualifications Team with any queries.
