Candidate Handbook and Regulations
The latest versions of the Candidate Handbook for the Qualification in Health Psychology Stages 1 and 2 and the Regulations for the Society's Postgraduate Qualifications are available below for downloading. Regulations for the Societys Postgraduate Qualifications - September 2008 Health Stage 1 Candidate Handbook 2008-9.pdf Candidate Handbook for the Qualification in Health Psychology (Stage 2) November 2009.pdf The Candidate Handbook for Stage 2 has recently been revised and applies to all new candidates enrolling from November 2009. Existing candidates who are already enrolled under the previous Candidate Handbook may opt to transfer to the new Candidate Handbook. Further details are given in the section headed "Stage 2 Documents" which you will find further down this page. If you are enrolled under the previous Candidate Handbook and wish to remain under this version of the Handbook, this document can be downloaded below. The Qualifications Office has produced the following guidance booklet for all of its candidates. Study Guide for Independent Candidates Sept 2008.pdf If you are not yet enrolled but would like a hard copy of the current Candidate Handbook for the Stage 2 Qualification and other relevant documents, there is a nominal charge of £12.00 (inc. VAT). This will be deducted from your enrolment fee upon presentation of a receipt. This fee also applies to enrolled candidates wishing to obtain susbsequent copies. Please contact Bethan Carley, Qualifications Officer, for further details. Hard copies of the Candidate Handbook for the Stage 1 Qualification are no longer available due to closure of the route, however an electronic copy is available above.

Stage 1 Please note that January 2010 will be the final diet of examinations for Stage 1 as the Stage 1 Qualification is being withdrawn after this date. Registrations for this final diet of examinations has now closed. After this point, candidates will need to undertake an accredited MSc in fulfilment of Stage 1.
Stage 2 Documents The revised Candidate Handbook for the Stage 2 Qualification has now launched and new enrolments are being accepted. The forms needed to enrol are below. Details of the current fees can be found towards the bottom of this page. Stage 2 forms.doc Transferring to the new Candidate Handbook If you are already enrolled as a Stage 2 candidate and wish to transfer to the new Candidate Handbook, please complete the transfer form below and submit with the fee of £150 plus VAT no later than 1 March 2010.
