Directory of Voluntary Careers Speakers
The Directory of Voluntary Careers Speakers is a free service offered by the British Psychological Society to provide schools, colleges or higher education institutions with the opportunity to invite professionals working within the field of psychology to talk about their experiences. This gives students the chance to find out a bit more about Psychology, what it can offer them, and the areas of work it encompasses. The 400+ speakers in the directory come from a variety of employment backgrounds, with a wide range of experiences and are willing to talk about their careers, their background, how they became interested in Psychology, and what they get out of it. For contact details of voluntary speakers in your area, please send an e-mail to speakers@bps.org.uk. Please provide the date and location of the event, the number of attendees expected and their age group, if known. We'll e-mail you with a list of speakers close-by to you (or anywhere in the UK if you would prefer). The list includes details of what each speaker specialises in, so you can pick out the ones that suit you. If you any questions please call 0116 2529587.
We hope you find these pages useful but please let us know if you have any suggestions on how we can improve them.
