September 2010: Name Change for the QA Team
From September 2010, the Quality Assurance Team will become the Partnership and Accreditation Team (PAcT).
July 2010: Accreditation through partnership - preparation for the launch 2010/11
We have now completed piloting accreditation through partnership, thanks to all those Universities and visiting teams who participated in this valuable process. The pilots provided us with some great learning points to take forward and we are looking forward to implementing our new method of engagement from September 2010.
We are currently in the process of evaluating the pilot visits and also the experience that teams had of the visits we carried out concurrently with the HPC's approvals process during 2009/10. Feedback so far has been positive and informative on both these processes and it will inform our process and the production of our new Handbooks, which will replace the existing accreditation crieria and information packs. These will be available for download from the website in September so watch this space!
In the meantime, we have posted the final version of our Standards documents for you - these replace the accreditation criteria used in the past.
