myCPD
The Learning Centre launched a new version of the CPD Online System, myCPD, on 3 June 2009. The latest version of the CPD system is open to all members of the Society.
The changes we have made to the system are based on the feedback received from those using the system and with post-Statutory Regulation CPD requirements in mind.
Psychologists registered with the HPC will be required to maintain an ongoing record of the CPD that they undertake in order to renew their registration. Further information on the HPC CPD requirements can be found on their website.
Finding the time to record your professional development and note down what you have learned is often very difficult and not a natural skill for many of us. myCPD has been designed to make this process as hassle-free as possible.
myCPD can:
- Remove form filling and paperwork from the CPD process.
- Provide a structured framework for the planning and recording of CPD.
- Allow members to update their CPD records as they work throughout the year.
- Store up to five years of CPD records.
- Create customised CPD reports which can be stored on the system or downloaded to a PDF file.
Although myCPD is a fully-functioning system we continue to develop approaches to CPD planning and recording. By routinely evaluating our online CPD systems we are better able to respond to the changing needs of our members.
We appreciate all feedback on myCPD and the Learning Centre. If you have any comments please take the time the time to let us know, you can send us an email, give us a call, or tell us face to face at a Learning Centre event.
Updates to myCPD happen automatically and there is no need to worry about re-installing software. Changes to the system and guidance notes are contained within the Guide to using myCPD (which can be found once you've logged into the system and is also on this site in the CPD Resources section).
If you have any specific suggestions about how you would like to see us develop our CPD systems please submit these through the feedback tool in myCPD or alternatively send us an email.
