Social Research Association (SRA) becomes the latest Approved CPD Provider. BPS members now receive a 10% discount on SRA courses.

Our new professional development and learning centre is launched.
March 2009:
We will be launching the BPS Learning Centre in April 2009 as part of our plans to enhance and develop the services we offer. The Centre will be an online portal for professional development, showcasing the latest CPD opportunities. We will also be launching a new version of the online CPD system that will be available for use by all members and will align more closely with the requirements of the HPC.
October 2008:
The Society's CPD monitoring processes have now been discontinued. The opening of the Health Professions Council's Register for practitioner psychologists is expected to take place on 1 July 2009. At this point psychologists registered with the HPC will be need to comply with the CPD requirements of the HPC.
Practising certificates will be renewed in January and April 2009 upon payment of the fee (£16). It is not necessary to submit a CPD record to renew your practising certificate.
