Welcome...
... to the 2009 British Psychological Society Annual Conference website. The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront on 1-3 April 2009.
What's new this year?
In response to delegate demand we have re-introduced the option to present individual papers to the Annual Conference. We have also set themes for the conference, based around our keynote speakers, to give the conference better focus. Our themes for Brighton are:
"Applying psychological research to clinical practice"
"Psychology and social disadvantage"
"Emotion, motivation and personality"
"Cognitive neuroscience of memory, attention and perception"
Programme
Thanks to everyone who submitted their proposals, our programme this year is very strong. Ahead of target, our programme is now available to download:
Programme timetable v9
The social programme includes our Gala Dinner at the Brighton Dome on Wednesday 1 April, and a buffet on Thursday 2 April - both of which will give you the opportunity to network with colleagues and to make new acquaintances.
