After the first day of the conference all delegates are invited to join us for a welcome drink with a Jorviq theme. Watch a team of Vikings entertain you with sagas, duelling & traditional tests of strength and agility.
Networking Buffet - Goodricke Old Dining Room , York Conference Park
Time - 18:45 - 20:00 hrs
Cost - £15.00 per person
This informal evening will provide an excellent base for you to network with other delegates within a relaxed atmosphere, whilst sampling the delights of Yorkshire’s traditional food & drink.
Thursday 22nd March
Annual Gala Dinner - The National Railway Museum
Time - 19:30 - midnight
Cost - £35.00 per person

On arrival you will be greeted by the North Allerton Brass Band playing in the Great Hall (a former engine shed, complete with working turntable). Pre-dinner drinks will be served and you are free to roam the museum which hosts the world’s finest railway collection.
You will then be called into The Station Hall for a freshly prepared 4-course meal where you will dine on a platform amongst carriages and locomotives set against the backdrop of the Edwardian era.
During the evening a caricaturist will mingle with the guests, providing you with a take-home souvenir of the evening. After dinner, we are pleased to announce The Rt Hon Baron Roy Hattersley will entertain us followed by music and dancing. The evening will draw to a close at Midnight.
Please note, we will be providing coaches from the University Campus and several of the major hotels in York. Coach timetables will be displayed at the conference venue.
